The Samsung i600 was officially announced on December 2006, in time for a perfect Christmas present.

This is a smartphone with Microsoft Mobile 5.0 smartphone OS, a more advanced gadget then the classical mobile, perfect for business use to keep all the data you need on the go.

It is compact compared to other smartphones. It is just 11.3cm by 5.9cm, quite small but still contains all the needed features for everyday use, a good advantage for you, and besides that it just weighs 105 grams.

It has a big 2.3 inch, 320 by 240 pixels TFT display, showing up to 65000 colours for a supreme picture display. It has a full built-in QWERTY keyboard so as to type faster, a good advantage over other mobiles that have just a small keypad.

It supports 40 channel polyphonic ringtones and can even play MP3's as ringtones, allowing you to play your favorite song or simply a funny real tone. You can even enable vibration so you can still know that you received a call or SMS even while your mobile is in silent mode or you are simply in a noisy place. It supports up to 6h 30minutes talk-time and up to 305hours in stand-by mode, thanks to a standard Li-Ion 1200 mAh powerful battery.

It can store your contacts, pictures and everything you want and need as it has a 128mb ROM and has a microSD slot, so that is a plenty of space for your files and data you need to store. It even records the last 30 dialed, missed and received calls. It has a 64mb RAM, enabling you to run multiple applications at the same time, thanks to the multi-tasking technology.

As nowadays we all need internet access, at home or in your office, now this even enables you to have internet on the go, while traveling and whenever you need with a Class 10 GPRS connection, a connection that gives you up to 48kbps. It has a WAP browser that supports xHTML, HTML and RSS feed. It even supports EDGE and 3G (HSDPA), up to 1.8mbps, you can even connect and share your PC's internet connection thanks to the Wi-Fi support.

It supports version 2.0 of Bluetooth for data sharing between PC's and other mobile devices, it even supports 1.1 USB to connect it to your PC and synchronize it.
