Thanksgiving place cards for dinner can be used to add an elegant touch to your family's meal. It matters not if you are having five people seated at the table or fifteen, these place cards will help everyone be able to find their seats so that the meal can be served. Thanksgiving place cards for dinner will look wonderful displayed either sitting on each plate or at the head of the plate next to the water glass.
The holidays are for spending time together with family and friends; and not for wasting that time circling the table trying to find an empty chair. If you are expecting a larger amount of guests than usual for the meal, make sure to send out dinner announcements with RSVPs so that you will have a list of the place cards that you need to make.
Using Thanksgiving place cards for dinner will also give you, the host or hostess, a chance to choose your own seating arrangement. Take advantage of that fact when deciding where to put the place cards. If you are having family coming in from out of town that you have not seen in ages, then seat them across from you at the table. This will allow for easy conversation without disrupting the dinner service.
If you have younger children, seat them next to you so that you can help them by cutting their food, etc. This will let you be able to stay at your seat and not spend the entire meal running back and forth. Here is what you will need for simple, yet elegant Thanksgiving place cards for dinner:
Materials List:
Heavy Cardstock (For these place cards, we will only use white and gold. However; you can use whatever color you choose; and there are a lot of colors and patterns to choose from. Try and keep to the Fall theme though for a well balanced table setting.)
Small, Simple, Thanksgiving Stencil (You can use a cornucopia, or a pumpkin with stem and vines, to a small cluster of fruit. Anything that will complement the season. Find your stencil in a size of no larger than two inches wide and four inches long.)
Ruler
Pencil
Gold Glitter
White Glue
