Saliva: A Natural Cure for Conjunctivitis

How to Naturally Cure Pink Eye Without a Prescription

Pink eye (scientifically identified as conjunctivitis) can be cured rather easily. This has been tested a number of times in my life with 100% success. I do not proclaim that I discovered this on my own.

A Polish grandmother identified this cure when I was 7 years old. She spit in the eye of my brother and my family got real mad. He was only 5 years old. But his pink-eye was cured by the end of that day. And the lady across the street apologized profusely but identified saliva as a
natural cure for pink-eye (conjunctivitis). And since then, I have swished water around in my mouth when a doctor identified me as having pink-eye. The doctor stated that there is no known cure for pink-eye (conjunctivitis) other than an anti-biotic placed in the eye and that it takes a week for the anti-biotic to work. However, I have found that my own saliva kills pink-eye (conjunctivitis) within a day and it only needs to be done once.

So the next time you visit your doctor, even the eye doctors, ask them if they know of a natural cure for pink-eye (conjunctivitis). They will in all likelyhood tell you that the ONLY cure is an anti-biotic. You can then tell them that you heard that saliva naturally kills the pink-eye bacteria. Let the doctors know that sometimes they are wrong!

Please do not teach your children to spit in other people's eyes.

And make sure there is nothing like alcohol or mouth-wash or toothpaste in your mouth. Pay particular attention to what's in your mouth before you try this at home.

Also, note, that conjunctivitis is spelled with an "i" and not a "u". There is no such word as conjunctivitus, but searching the internet turns up common misspellings.

Please pass this link around to your friends! This may not work for everyone, so if you end up as one of the very few that it does not work for, go see an eye doctor and you will likely learn you have something other than pink-eye (conjunctivitis).

And if this works for you, please post a reply and let us all know! Thank you for your help and participation!

I don't think it is right to use the word cure. It is more like an advanced tear drop. It calms the eye, reduces the itching, and if the conjunctivities is related to simple reasons, then it would help too. But, I am sure, if your conjunctivities disappears with a simple spit, then you should use regular eye drops. Those would definitely help. At least, that is based on my experience.

My son had sore red eyes on Friday after riding home from school. By Saturday morning he had ooze coming out of his left eye and I knew he had conjunctivitis so I got him to have a shower to see if it eased the pain. His eye only got worse, so swollen and very painful, even the top eyelid was inflamed. I quickly looked up the net to see if there was any help out there naturally for this problem and came across this site...........! Thank you soooo much. My son did it right away and as it was around 1pm in the afternoon he was hoping to be well enough to see a movie that evening. I did not hold our much hope for him to be cured by then but in only 2 or 3 hours the improvement was so fast that I allowed him to go out at 6.30pm without any doubts. He will always use this if ever he gets it again. Once again, many thanks. Chris from Australia :D

Let us know if this works for you. I'm really interested as well. I have had great success with this and it pretty much cured pink eye everytime I've used it. I even waited a day or so before I went into see a doctor once and asked them if they knew of any natural cure. The doctor insisted that the only cure was an antibiotic and that it might take a week to actually work.

I believe the reason saliva works is that our saliva has antibodies in it. Also when a person gets sick. Their body builds up even more antibodies in it. It is quite likely the times spit might not work. Could be because the donor might never have had pink eye and therefore would lack the antibodies. I do find it interesting that those who have used it mention that it seems to have nearly an immediate soothing affect.
