From my experience, there are very few good outlets for writing freelance on the Internet. There's Associated Content, which I still believe to be the best because it's almost hassle-free. As an Associated Content writer, I feel the need to report on my outside involvement with other freelance writing websites.

Recently, I came across an advertisement on craigslist.org in regards to writing positions. I was thrilled. Not only did the site require that you have a college degree, which I'd recently obtained, but it actually required you to apply. "Oh man, I hope I get the job!" I thought.

Within 3 hours of applying, I got a call from some woman calling from SOMEWHERE. Her accent was like nothing I'd ever heard before and her inflection of words' sounds made absolutely no sense. It sounded like she was talking backwards. Little did I know the company she represented, uvocorp, was almost entirely backwards itself.

Check it out: www.uvocorp.com.

Pretty clean looking site, right?

Wrong!

Uvocorp.com is a plagiarism-selling service in which you, the new uvocorp.com 'employee' bid on writing assignments for students.

But what's the most backward thing, aside from the bidding, is that some of the writing assignments-which are sometimes clearly defined as reports, etc.-can be extremely simple. I've written 2 page high school papers for $25.

Then again, some of the orders simply aren't worth it. $80 for a 10 page Master's level paper? Give me a break.

I've even seen people theses up for bid! Is that really acceptable?

After all, none of the customers pay enough. Period. Some little assignments can be a quick $10, but dealing with the site and other restrictions make it simply too much trouble.

For instance: the damn administrators. If you, the writer, have any grammatical errors, they will take money out of your bid. Other restrictions include lateness, plagiarism, and not being an 'advanced' member. In order to be an 'advanced' member, you have to write more than 20 pages a month for uvocorp.com-which is nearly impossible considering the small amount of orders that trickle in.

Is there any writer who writes for uvocorp.com. I am just a new writer and as of now I don't have any orders yet. If you are working with uvocorp, I just want to know if they are paying their writers? I am previously a writer of essaywriters.net and proven they are not paying their writers and all the administration assistant, specifically Susan, has no manners. Everytime I follow up my payment, she easily gets angry? I have many orders made but there are so many deductions that were made by them. Please respond, asap. Thank you very much.
