You as a user of digital technology have a right to digital freedom; whether you as a user realize this or not. That why many organizations across the globe are trying to educate users of this technology so that they will not fail prey to these vicious predators.
"AACS, the "Advanced Access Content System," promoted by Disney, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, Sony, and others, aims to restrict use of HDTV recordings-and software-so they can't be used except as these companies permit." As stated by Richard Stallman
Imagine that you bought a CD at your local record store, then a few months later they came to your home and replaced the CD with one you could not play in your car or your home stereo system but only in your personal mp3 player. Now would you feel like you still own the CD? The Fact is that you bought it but they still own it.
According to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), "In April 2004, Apple decided to modify the DRM so people could burn the same play list only 7 times, down from 10. How much further will the service restrict your ability to make legal personal copies of your own music?" There is really no telling but the EFF has listed some very good sites to download mp3's without the DRM stuff included. (See: additional resources)
Basically, don't be fool by the hype of different digital products. Be wise and investigate digital equipment before purchasing it. I'll hate for you to be bitten by (DRM) digital restrictions management later on. Only because the information was out there for you or no one is pointing you in the right direction know about this before it to late for you.
Most of these corporate companies have only your money in mine. At the same time, these capitalist bloodsuckers hope you have not been educated about your digital rights of digital freedom.
