Bring Patriotism Back to Our Hearts, Children and Schools!

Several weeks ago, our small town had a parade as part of the county fair. People of all ages lined the sidewalks in excited anticipation of what would come. The American Legion led the parade, proudly displaying our nation's flag. The Boy Scouts followed with another flag, as glorious and beautiful as the first. As they approached, I stood, feeling the overwhelming need to show my respect to my country and my flag.
