Ever since Seinfeld went off the air back in 1998, NBC never really fully recovered in the department of primo comedy series or situation comedies; at least original ones. I mean, yes, I am a big fan of the Office, but anyone who has done their research knows that it is loosely based on the original British series, which once aired on BBC, and was greatly spruced up to appease American audiences.

And yes, I also love My Name is Earl, 30 Rock and I was a fan of Will and Grace. However, if you really dissect that one, it is plain to see that the show really just gets yucks EXCLUSIVELY from (hey, I'm) gay jokes. Not one of these shows, however, has really reached the strength and magnitude that NBC comedy once was at in the 90s.

However, there is one NBC I still can't get enough of and have become hopelessly addicted to since I got the first box set as a gift; Scrubs. However, I don't really call this show a comedy; it has a lot of hilarious bits, fantasy sequences, plot lines and, of course, a dead dog (Rowdy, no). On the other hand, it is written to be serious, documenting the very realistic lives, straight from the beginning of a group of young doctors going from medical interns to "attendings." The show debuted in 2001 and since has garnered a devoted following.

The seventh season, according to NBC.com, debuts on October 25 (thank God). A lot also happened towards the end of season 6, leaving fans not only hanging, but waiting in pure aoony. Here's a little recap (spoiler alert); Laverne dies, Eliot and Keith, at the end are just days away from getting married. Jordan and Dr. Cox are preparing for their second baby. Kim is just about ready to have her baby with J.D., of whom she is trying desperately to patch things up. And to top it off, the Season six finale ends with Eliot and J.D. laying together on a bed in the on-call room, Kim and Keith waiting for their lovers out of sight, leaning in to kiss passionately and possibly have sex for the umpteenth time.

Takeaways
  • This will be the seventh season of Scrubs.
  • The show debuted in 2001, and soon garnered a devout following.

Scrubs is one of the best TV shows ever and the only current one that I laugh out loud at even when I'm watching it by myself. It depicts everyday hospital life more accurately than any other show set in a hospital. It truly is a drama/comedy. It's the only show besides Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto where I actually care about the characters. I don't know how it's going to be accomplished, but I believe J.D. and Elliott will end up together. This is foreshadowed by the episode where the male characters fantasized about being married to Elliott. The only "normal" fantasy was J.D.'s, where he and Elliott were sitting on a couch at home saying they were glad tobe married to each other. J.D. never has "normal" fantasies.

jordan and cox already had their baby Jennifer Dylan (J.D.) since everyone was dealing with lavern's death JD was the only there with Jordan, She was mad at Perry and agreed with JD's suggestion that she name the Baby Jennifer Dylan and make JD the godfather. She later agreed to not to make JD the godfather after Perry begged and bribed her
