Lucy the Daughter of the Devil: Television is Strange

I recently decided to watch Lucy Daughter of the Devil on Cartoon Network's Adult swim block. I was amused in a disturbing, I should cover my eyes and pick up my jaw way, when I watched the second episode that air on Sunday September 16, 2007. This episode was filled with religious and social taboos that left me feeling a little worried about the world at a whole; it was like a train wreck, where you don't want to look, but you can't look away.

The second episode, which is called "Dildo Factory", features Lucy's father, the devil, opening a dildo factory. Satan is opening a dildo factory in order to increase the amount of women who masturbate. This is important in order to create a world collapse of the economy. Lucy is very excited about the didlo venture and sends her unwanting father pictures of her own personal dildo creations.

Meanwhile Jesus, who is a Mexican DJ, is trying to get in the Guinness Book of World Records by holding his arms out at a 90 degree angle for three days. Jesus is a miracle producing music mixer with a flare for the eccentric. Lucy is in love with him, and when he asks her to make a dildo modeled after him holding his arms out she goes out of her way to.

The Devil is trying very hard to get Lucy to stay away from his dildo factory, but offers a contest much like the golden ticket from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Lucy tells one of the children attending the dildo tour to bring her back a motor because she is intent in making a DJ Jesus dildo. The Devil notices the child stealing, and hits it in the head with a neon blue dildo. All the children on the tour die in one terrible acid burning way or another and the factory catches fire.

This accident causes the company's stock to plummet, and civilization almost collapses, but doesn't. The episode ends with the Devil watching DJ Jesus call for Lucy. Lucy presents DJ Jesus with the customized dildo and the company is saved.
