Mahatma Ghandi once came up with seven blunders of the world. Here's his list:

"Seven Blunders of the World"

1. Wealth without work
2. Pleasure without conscience
3. Knowledge without character
4. Commerce without morality
5. Science without humanity
6. Worship without sacrifice
7. Politics without principle

I am going to take a closer look at each of Gahndi's points.

Wealth without work

The people who actually work in any way to gain their wealth understand this concept. Those who get their wealth without work do not understand it. How does one possibly get wealth without work?

There are people who have trust funds. There is nothing wrong with a trust fund, but perhaps those who are actually able to work should only be able to obtain these funds under certain conditions.

There are inheritances. Once again, nothing wrong. However, a huge inheritance so that a person can live lavishly or at least live and never have to work should never be left, either.

There's definitely a difference between leaving money to somebody who is physically and mentally able to do work and somebody who cannot work due to impairments.

Pleasure without Conscience

Many people would love to say that they do not indulge in such things. However, we are all guilty of doing this at times. These things can be dangerous from the beginning or even over a long time.

Sex is one of the biggest concerns. Many people engage in premarital and unprotected sex. To condemn them is certainly worng, as we all make mistakes. However, to continue and to have multiple partners and not realize the coincidence is another thing. This can also hurt others if they had felt that there was actually something between the two of them.

Alcohol and drugs are an easy indulgence for pleasure. They are often used and abused. Alcohol should not be used so frequently and so much by many. Drugs should not be taken by many unless they are simple pain relievers, medicines, and prescriptions. Even then, there needs to be no abuse of these drugs.
