The scene breaks away to the US embassy where Linc fights desperately to get his brother, Michael out of prison. After a night full of terror, Linc succeeds when he is told that Michael will be moved from Sona in a day. He will remain incarcerated for a month until his trail but the attorney is hopeful that with the evidence from the scene he will be released and will walk away a free man. In Panama at least, he will still face charges in the United States from breaking his brother out of prison. But he will face many trials before his transfer and the prospect of him walking out of the prison alive grows dimmer and dimmer.
The show then moves back to prison life, the day after the fighting ring. Dead bodies lay across the courtyard untouched and prison life resumes around them. The entire prison population is unphased by the corpses that they step over. Just as the bodies are beginning to be moved the prison leader enters the scene. Immediately the entire prison becomes extremely nervous and terrified. One man on the verge of death stumbles over to him and begs for a drink of water, instead he is told to drink the mud and out of pure fear, lowers his head to the murky pool. The prison leader proceeds to slam his boot in the mud splashing the poor mans face. A good Samaritan rushes over and pulls the man from the ground.
