The laundry room is sometimes the last room we think of to decorate in our home. Yet it can be one of the most used and useful rooms in our home. Your laundry room does not have to look like a room that all you do is work in. You can decorate and organize your laundry room in a way that it will look clean and decorative. A laundry room should have a decent amount of storage space to keep all of your storage supplies together in one area. Wall shelves or a storage cabinet will usually do the trick when storing your cleaning supplies. A storage cabinet can also hold your mop, broom and other larger items.

Your laundry room is one of the most difficult rooms to decorate because most people don't know how to decorate this type of room. That is why we sometimes just close the door and forget about it. The first trick to decorating your laundry room is organizing everything. Find a place to put everything away so you have a clean slate when you go to decorate. You should decorate your laundry room to be a functional room. It will be used everyday for laundry and other purposes like storing your cleaning supplies and other items. Organization is the best decorating tip that you can have when it comes to your laundry room.

A laundry room can be small with limited space. It all depends on your size laundry room that you have, to how you will be able to decorate and organize this room. The floor space should have a laundry hamper, a storage cabinet and a table or flat area to fold clothes or iron your clothes. Some people are also fortunate enough to have a small sink in their laundry room. The wall should have plenty of storage cabinets for cleaning supplies and other items. The key to having a great laundry room is plenty of storage space for organization. Don't let this space get cluttered, it will make it look smaller, unorganized and messy. Your washer and dryer can take up a great deal of space in your laundry room, if they are sitting side by side. A way to make more space in this area is to buy a stackable washer and dryer. This will give you more usable floor space in your laundry room.
