Spammers have a tricky way of finding their prey in a number of ways. If you have ever joined a public forum or any on line group, then beware. If you used your personal e-mail address in these public on line places, spammers can and will put you on their list. Using a "spambot" is also a common way to retrieve e-mail addresses. These pesky little bots will basically creep and crawl all over the web gathering e-mail addresses from chat rooms, web sites, and even employment databases. Simply filling out information for free spam protection may also end up costing you dearly. Many spam companies set up their very own website to entice you into leaving your e-mail address in order to get off of spam lists. What is really happening is that you have just opened Pandora's Box to a plethora of spammers. The list of ways your e-mail is traced goes on and on, thus making the need for spam protection urgent.
