Fels Naptha: Laundry Soap That Works

Fels Naptha: My secret weapon for getting out laundry stains is an old timey product called Fels Naptha. It has been around for ages. It's a simple bar of laundry soap that will really save your clothes. Who hasn't had a piece of clothing ruined by some ugly stain that would not come out after using expensive product after product to get it out? Fells Naptha is a very reasonably priced stain remover. It costs around $1 per bar.

Fels Naptha is hard to find in some areas of the country. You can go to the Dial Store and use their product/store locator to find a store near you that carries it. One bar of Fels Naptha lasts a looong time.

To use it, I wet the spot where the stain is and rub the Fels Naptha onto the stain. I then scrub the area and toss it into the wash. I'd say that 98% of the time, the stain is gone after washing. If the stain doesn't come out the first time, I wash the garment again. Almost always the stain will come out.
