Are you in the process of planning a children's Halloween party? If you are, you have a number of decisions to make. One of those decisions involves the party entertainment. If your upcoming Halloween party is designed for preschoolers or young elementary school aged children, you will want to examine some of the fun Halloween party activities outlined below.

Pumpkin Decorating

Decorating pumpkins is a great children's Halloween party activity. Depending on the average age of your Halloween party guests, you can have pumpkin decorating include carving pumpkins or simply painting them. You will also find that this is a relatively low-cost party activity. You can easily find a number of affordable small pumpkins, as well as children's paints, or even carving kits for affordable prices locally and online. Just be sure to purchase all supplies in advance, especially if your Halloween party is large in size.

Pumpkin Bowling

Pumpkin bowling is another great children's Halloween party activity. What you will want to do is have a number of pumpkins that are small in size and preferably with small stems. You will also need objects to use as your bowling pins. These objects can be toy pins that you purchased locally or online or they can simply be empty soda or juice bottles. Depending on the size of your Halloween party, you may want to have more than one "bowling lane," set up.

Guess the Item

Guess the item is a Halloween game that many younger children will find fun and exciting. What you will want to do is place a number of objects, preferably ones that give a "yucky," feel in a bowl. You will then want to blindfold each child or have them cover their eyes. They will have to guess the object in question, either by touch or smell. Ideal objects include cooked spaghetti, silly string, gummy worms, or grapes.
