Review of the Chuck Wagon Grille

The Chuck Wagon Grille is located in Rockbridge Ohio, at the Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market. The Chuck Wagon Grille is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April to December. The Chuck Wagon Grille opens at 7 am and closes at 4 pm. This restaurant is unusual. It is a mix of We're Rolling Pretzel Company and a hamburger stand.

The food at the Chuck Wagon Grille is not that good. It is over priced and normally, not very fresh. I am surprised that this business is still open, as in a small town like Rockbridge. There are many rumors going around about this business. I have heard many horror stories about the Chuck Wagon Grille. I have also eaten there, and I was very disappointed.

The food was certainly cooked quite some time before I ordered it; my sandwich was a consistency between leather and cardboard. I thought I had certainly paid too much for such a pathetic meal. The staff is not helpful at all, and they are somewhat rude. The Chuck Wagon Grille offers breakfast, and sandwiches in addition to the pretzels from We're Rolling Pretzel Company. I did not know that you could incorporate your own business with the franchise of We're Rolling Pretzel Company, but it has been done at the Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market. Last year the Pretzel Company was in better shape. Who does not like soft fresh pretzels? This year in addition to the Chuck Wagon Grille, the employees are not as nice, and you cannot watch them roll the pretzels anymore.

I would not recommend eating at the Chuck Wagon Grille, you would be better off to stop by Great Expectations for a healthy meal. The service at Great Expectations is superior and the prices are better. The food served at Great Expectations is worth the price you pay for it, unlike at the Chuck Wagon Grille. It is surprising that a crew of adults could do such a horrible job cooking. Teenagers at McDonalds seem to do a better job at preparing food than the staff at the Chuck Wagon Grille does.
