When you sign up with any of the online dating sites you are requested to write a profile introducing yourself to other hopefuls. This is a rather difficult endeavor to say the least. This article is for you ladies, if you are thinking about or are already utilizing such a service, please avoid using the following five phrases in your Profile.
"I am as comfortable in Sweats as I am in a Cocktail dress!"
Sure, all you are trying to say is that you are versatile. Being comfortable wearing something doesn't make you suitable for it. To see if you are as comfortable (or at home) in both situations is something your Partner will have to decide. You may be comfortable, but are you suitable. This statement for some reason seems to rub a lot of the gents wrong. A better way of making this statement would be: "I enjoy myself in casual situations as well as on formal occasions." Not only does this sound more professional and classy, but it also puts the point across that you indeed would be suitable for a finer establishment.
"I am a Princess looking for my Knight in shining Armor."
You are looking for Prince Charming you are a Queen who knows her value, right? What you sound like is a mentally young girl that still believes in fairy tales as well as a spoiled female. Most guys aren't looking for a Princess. They don't have the desire to be a Knight in shining Armor, and those that do will be moving along as soon as the Damsel in Distress is rescued. Another thing is that this statement makes you sound desperate. Are you a spoiled Damsel in distress that is in need of rescuing?
