If sweets are consistently your dieting downfall, don't deny yourself! You can still enjoy sweets while dieting; you just need to be careful what you choose to curb that craving. Here are some great choices to satisfy that sweet tooth without ruining your diet.

Marshmallows. While marshmallows are indeed loaded with sugar (they basically are sugar) they are fat-free. Their super sweetness will satisfy a craving with a very small serving, so portion out half a cup (for about 90 calories) and enjoy!

100 Calorie Packs. The variety of 100 calorie packs available right now is enormous. You can satisfy that need for a sweet baked good by choosing oreos or chips ahoy, or you can get fruit snacks if you prefer fruity sweet satisfaction. You can even get candy items such as M&Ms and Twix in 100 calorie portion sizes now.

Ghiradelli 60% Cacao Chocolate Chips. If you're a chocolate person, Ghiradelli Chocolate Chips are the perfect choice for your sweet tooth. A whopping sixteen oversized chips have just 80 calories and the chocolate flavor is truly decadent.

Kudos Granola Bars. Available in chocolate chip, Snickers, and M&M varieties, Kudos Granola Bars taste like a candy bar, without the extreme fat and calories. A bar will set you back only about 100 calories but it will taste like much more.

Ice Cream Sandwiches. The average traditional ice cream sandwich has about 160 calories and 6 grams of fat. Not bad for the delicious, creamy sweetness an ice cream sandwich has to offer. Look for a low fat, low calorie version (readily available) if you want to be even better.

Sugar Free Popsicles. Popsicles come in a variety of sugar free versions including fruit flavors and even fudge pops. These icy treats can be found in as a little as 30 calorie servings, but most are not more than 100 calories. If you want something cold and sweet you can't beat a sugar free popsicle.

Rice Krispie Treats. Rice Krispie treats offer the sweetness of marshmallows with a little more substance. A single Rice Krispie treat serving will only set you back about 90 calories.

I'm not on a diet, but I like the 100 calorie packs and marshmallows are such a wonderful invention. I wonder who first came up with the idea? Sophie
