Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier", "Cheers") and Patricia Heaton ("Everybody Loves Raymond") make a fantastic comedy team in this new 30-minute situation comedy on Fox TV this fall.

Back to You was created, written and produced by Steven Levitan (Writer/Director/Producer of "Just Shoot Me!" and Writer/Producer of "Frasier" and "Wings") and Christopher Lloyd, fondly remembered as Dr. Emmett Brown from the Back to the Future trilogy, (Producer "Frasier," "Out of Practice" and "The Golden Girls"). With two clearly gifted men at the helm of a sitcom and the outstanding casting jobm, I predict that this program will be an absolute hit!

Grammer (Chuck Darling) brings a bit of Frasier Crane with him by playing a very self-centered guy. His character, Chuck Darling, is quite the womanizer though and admittedly prefers a relationship where they "encourage him to leave his dirty towels on the floor", thus he lives in a hotel. Patricia Heaton (Kelly Carr) also brings a bit of Debra Barone with her in that her character is a very competent woman who could be considered a know-it-all. It is endearing though as we learn that she has worked hard to get to where she is under some extenuating circumstances. The comedic combination of the two makes for fantastic television viewing and plenty of laughter.

The first 25 minutes of the pilot episode were excellent comedy with some new faces as well as some old ones (Ayda Field from the excellent but ill fated "Studio 60", Marsh McGinley from "Anchorman" and most recently Amy's wacky, ultra religious father on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and Ty Burrell from the great but also ill fated sitcom "Out of Practice"). While the first episode was mainly carried by Grammer and Heaton, the secondary characters give the story great life, color and even more laughs. The last five minutes of the pilot episode were just as good as the first twenty-five, but left us completely hooked when we discovered along with Chuck that he fathered Kelly's daughter during a one-night-stand just before he left Pittsburgh for bigger and better opportunities ten years ago.
