Halloween cup cake cakes are a fun way you and the kids can show your creativity at yoru Halloween party this year. You can use cupcakes to form a Halloween Jack O Lantern cupcake cake even if you have never decorated a cake before!

To Make a Halloween Jack O Lantern Cup Cake Cake You Will Need:

24 cupcakes in paper cups

White icing

Orange food coloring

Yellow gel icing

Black writing icing tube

Orange sprinkles

Chocolate or black sprinkles

Green writing icing

Go ahead and bale all 24 cupcakes as directed on yoru favorite box of cake mix.

Take the tub of white icing and add some orange food coloring till you get the Jack O Lantern color you want.

Now, take three of the cupcakes and ice them with the orange icing. Now, on each cupcake you want to draw a triangle right in the middle of each cupcake.

Use the black tube writing icing and fill up the whole cupcake top.

Now, fill in each triangle with the yellow icing. Start in one point and zig zag it back a forth.

Next, ice three cupcakes with green icing. You can simply reserve some of the white icing and add green food color and mix. You can also use the green writing icing.

Now, take the remainder of your cupcakes and icing them all in the rest of the orange icing.

You are now ready to assemble your Jack o lantern cupcake cake.

Use two of the triangles as eyes and turn one upside down as the nose.

It really works best of you assemble the Halloween Jack O Lantern on a platter.

Create a large circle of the cupcakes, placing the eyes, as they should be.

Once you have assembled your circle of range cupcakes as the body ot the Jack O Lantern cupcake cake you can use the three green cupcakes to make a stem.

If you haven't noticed your Jack O Lantern Halloween cake has no mouth. You want to use that black writing icing again to draw on the mouth.

This can overlap from orange cupcake to orange cupcake!

After you have added the mouth to the jack o lantern cupcake you are finished.

You can add fun details like orange glitter, yellow glitter, or even chocolate sprinkles if you want.
