OJ Simpson Might Not Be as Guilty as He is Stupid

As a result of the events that have recently transpired, I have been convinced that OJ Simpson was not the culprit in the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Now, before the hate mail comes in, listen to my reasoning, and you might agree.

OJ Simpson is obviously a man lacking the simplest form of intelligence and common sense. Do you honestly think that this idiot (or "alleged idiot" if you prefer) was smart enough to cheat the entire legal system? Let's be honest here. Al Capone was caught. John Gotti was caught. We even caught Saddam Hussein, but out of all of the notorious felons and murderers, it was OJ Simpson who defeated the legal system? Get real. I refuse to think that the legal system is that flawed or that our American people are that stupid to allow someone who has proven that he doesn't have a shred of common sense to defeat one of the best legal systems in the world.

Now, don't get me wrong. I believe that OJ was not innocent in that 14-year-old case that changed media forever. I do believe that he was smart enough to set it up for someone else to do it. Even a trained monkey can pay someone else to murder two people, so it doesn't take a huge amount of intelligence to pull that one off, but saying that OJ murdered two people and got away with it is like Osama Bin Laden being found by Barney Fife. Is it possible? Of course it's possible, but highly unlikely. OJ lost a civil case afterward because it was proven that he was at fault for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, which I believe that he was, but he couldn't have done it himself because he isn't smart enough to get away with it.
