I've just read Timothy Sexton's article "Are you going keyword crazy?" www.associatedcontent.com:80/article/379923/are_you_going_keyword_crazy_.html. I believe he has made some valid points about the practice of key wording. Google, Yahoo, MySpace have all made millions of dollars by getting us all excited about key words. Forget about all the grammar you've learned just make sure Google, Yahoo, and MySpace appear forty thousand times in every five hundred words you type. Forget about writing about topics that interest you just write article that you can force Google, Yahoo, and MySpace into every other word.

I've also read this week in the New York Times that some of our legislators are again banning books. I'm sure if I took the time I'd read similar stories on Google, Yahoo, and MySpace. I don't know why I would since the information I have is sufficient to satisfy my curiosity without using Google, Yahoo, or MySpace.

I'll admit from time to time I use Google, Yahoo, or MySpace for information. Many times it is only to find where fuller and more concise information is located. Us more mature folks remember when you did the same thing at the library or if we had the availability in our own encyclopedias.. Google, Yahoo, and MySpace have their place in society today but they certainly won't replace the intimate personal assistance of the librarian.(Let alone the librarian has better looking legs.)

We are again being bombarded with political rhetoric at the behooves of several candidates that don't belong in the office of the president even as a visitor. If you plug their name into Google, Yahoo, or MySpace you will find the half truths and mis-information the candidate wants to spread. On this topic I consider Google, Yahoo, and MySpace just an electronic manure spreader. I can't fault them for publishing this manure since no one seems to know the truth, or perhaps in unwilling to discuss it.

Great title! As far as misinformation goes, it doesn't matter what the medium is- it's all over the place.

I totally agree (until I look at the lack of page view bonuses on My Account page.) Then, I start using all the SEO strategies and promotion strategies again. You are right - don't ignore them, but don't make them central. Great article.
