Celebrities, Including Jordin Sparks, Jessica Alba, Eric Dane, Will Help Charity Auction on eBay

Swarovski announced on Thursday a continuing partnership with SOS Children's Village. A long star-studded list of celebrities who designed Swarovski-Crystal embellished denim jackets will make an appearance on eBay for a charity auction to raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.

The auction will be featured on eBay Giving Works beginning September 25^th at http://www.eBay.com/swarovski and will end on October 5^th, during World Orphan Week which occurs October 1^st through October 7^th, 2007. The list of celebrity designers includes the creative arts of: Carrie Underwood, Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, Jessica Alba, Eric Dane, Vanessa Williams, Rebecca Gayheart, Angie Harmon, Finola Hughes, Stacy London, Laila Ali, Sara Ramirez, and Reba McEntire,

The World Orphan Week campaign has its origins in 2005 when it was organized in order to raise awareness of the plight of orphaned and abandoned children everywhere, to recruit volunteers and to raise much-needed funds for crucial programs that benefit these children. Finola Hughes, aka "Anna Devane"--General Hospital and The Style Network's hit show "How Do I Look", says "By 2010, there will be more than 25 million orphaned and abandoned children around the world. SOS Children's Villages and Swarovski believe in providing the vital care these children need to grow and flourish in their communities.
