It's that time of year again! Trick-or-treat!In my neighborhood, no matter who or what you try to get "going," it just doesn't happen. People send flyers for a neighborhood bash, and nothing happens. Not even the one who sent the flyer was seen participating. Send out flyers for a neighborhood sale, and no one has time. Send out a flyer asking neighbors to turn on their porch lights for Halloween, and not a light is lit the night of trick-or-treating.
Before you ask, there are a lot of kids in this neighborhood. A lot of people of various ages, and ethnicity.
So we take our trick-or-treating elsewhere.
