Thanksgiving table decorations can make your holiday table setting look wonderful. These can be purchased pre-made in a variety of styles from your local retailer. However, the inspired can make them. If you find one at the store that you would love to have, but simply can not afford, try to find ways to make it yourself; or give this round fruit topiary a try.

As far as Thanksgiving table decorations go, it is relatively inexpensive and easy to make. You can use this for your table's centerpiece because the stem is tall enough to allow for easy dinner conversation, or display it on a sideboard or small side table in your dining room. They look beautiful wherever you choose to place them.

Thanksgiving Round Fruit Topiary: What You Will Need

If you have a large dinner table, or you want to balance your table out; you can double this list and make two Thanksgiving table decorations.

Ball Topiary Form (You can find these in a variety of heights, but for this one you will need a nineteen inch form, with a four inch ball.)

Mini Artificial Fruit (You can find all sorts of mini fruits in your local craft store or craft aisle of your local retail store. Look for mini pears, apples, or oranges. Get them in any finish, from glazed to beaded, or natural.)

Mini "Itsy-Bead-Sies" (These can be purchased from your local stores as well. They are small, usually four to six millimeters each, Styrofoam balls; and you can find them in a multitude of colors. Whatever fruit you are using, get these to complement it. For example: If you are using mini apples, try using red, light green, and yellow itsy-bead-sies. If you are using oranges, then get light pink, yellow, and light green itsy-bead-sies.)

Cool Melt, Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks (Make double sure that it is a "cool melt" glue gun because you will be using it on Styrofoam.)

Wire-Edged Ribbon (Get this is any color or pattern you would like, as long as it brings out the colors in your topiary. Get the ribbon in a width of at least an inch.)

Spanish Moss (Get this dried from the craft store or craft aisle. Use a color that matches the topiary.)
