Farberware FCP240 Electric Percolator Review
The Farberware FCP240 Electric Percolator is a cute little percolator that makes finest home made coffee. Please do not expect it to work like the sophisticated coffee machines and there is no point in comparing them. Remember this is a percolator and juxtapose it with those memorable
cups of coffee you had with your grandparents during the vacation at village. As I stay away from home, this makes me more nostalgic and homesick. This makes better hot coffee than the drip pot. It is a perfect percolator for those who consume coffee moderately and does not require more than 2 cups of coffee.
This percolator is wonderfully designed with perfect combination of ergonomics, aesthetic appeal and utility. Unlike other percolators, this kitchen ware bears a unique shape like that of a water jug. This could be grouped under those classic cook and serve cook wares that can be placed on the dining table. This looks so elegant and stunning. It comes with a dimension of 7 x7 x 9-1/2 inches and is compact. The Farberware FCP240 Electric Percolator is an exceptionally good apparatus that makes one cup of coffee in a minute. All you have to do is to just plug in and serve the beverage hot. This is a steal for $30 and is worth more than that.
This runs on 1000 watts and brews rich coffee with a full body instantly. After the preparation is done, the percolator readily changes the temperature to "keep warm". This is definitely a good feature but I wish this comes with an auto off once the coffee is done. This is in fact very significant improvement that most of us really want to have in Farberware. There is no doubt that the temperature is remarkably decreased but what happens is that if you forget to turn the power off, the coffee will vaporize and finally burn the pot. So make sure that you unplug the cord after the coffee is done. The cord is removable and hence does not trail behind and is not a problem while moving around with the percolator.
