Product Review: Full Circle Organic Salsa
The Full Circle Organic Salsa is one of many affordable organic products from Full Circle that is available at the grocery store.
Ingredients
Full Circle Organic Salsa is a great choice for anyone looking for an all-natural, organic, fat-free, preservative free salsa. This food fits into any
vegan or vegetarian diet.
Every single one of the ingredients listed on the jar can be found in nature. The salsa is dense with chunks of organic tomatoes, both crushed and diced. Other ingredients include organic garlic and organic onions, organic cilantro, organic jalapeno peppers, organic cider, lime juice, and herbs and spices.
Product Claims
The natural product claims to have a "small batch homemade taste." This salsa, more than any other jarred salsas I have tried, truly does have homemade flavors.
The fresh flavors are there, much like you would find in a bowl of salsa that was made in a small portion at home. It tastes as if the ingredients were picked straight from the garden, cut up, and allowed to mingle with each other for a few hours in the refrigerator.
What I also like about this product is the generous blend of vegetables and spices in this organic salsa. You can find every single one of the listed ingredients in this salsa.
Taste
I tried the product and it had just a little bit more of an after burn than most other commercial brands. This is not a bad thing. After all if I wanted salsa that just tasted like tomatoes, I would not buy salsa. I have had salsa that just tasted like tomatoes.
There is also a strong garlic aroma when you first unscrew the lid. The next time I have this I may just add a touch of fresh cilantro, since it could use some.
Texture
Salsa needs to be not to runny, not to chunky, and not to heavy for the average tortilla chip. This product passes the test. Unlike other mild salsas, which are sometimes watery, this product did not need to mixed up before pouring out the jar. No liquid had to be run off to get to the good stuff.
Nutritionally
This mix of vegetables and spices is a great condiment for any meal. The salsa is low calorie (10 calories per two tablespoons), fat-free, cholesterol-free, and very low in sugar.
