Easter isn't the only time to decorate eggs if you put a little thought into it. Replace the traditional colors of Easter with the orange and black colors of Halloween. Dip the eggs in orange food coloring and than let your young ghouls create their own designs with black markers. You will probably be quite impressed or maybe even disturbed with what they come up with. Some of their designs will probably make you stop and wonder what kind of parent you really are. But remember it is all in fun so enjoy your little monsters creations.
Maybe you are one of the many adults who enjoy dressing up for Halloween as much as little ones. If you are not very creative about what to go as consider letting your kids be responsible for getting you ready for the big night. I guarantee you they will have a blast providing you with something to wear. I'm not suggesting you give them your credit card and let them go out and purchase some expensive outfit. Make it a rule that they must use things already in your closet and in the house. They will suprise you with how creative they can be and it might even provide them with some therapy considering all the wrongs they probably feel you done to them. It will be something both of you as well as the neighbors will talk about for years to come.
