Product Review: FoodShouldTasteGood Multigrain Tortilla Chips

The FoodShouldTasteGood Multigrain Tortilla Chips are one of the best all-natural chips you can buy in the supermarket. They have also received toddler approval, which is good news for parents.

Ingredients

This healthy snack food has a corn base, uses non-hydrogenated canola oil, brown rice flour, Turbinado cane sugar, oat fiber and sea salt. I appreciate the addition of the flax seeds, sesame seeds, the sunflower seeds and the
 Quinoa.

Taste

This snack food has a mild flavor. The chips barely taste salted, which I appreciate. So many snack foods rely on salt for flavor, rather than allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients to dance on the palette. Some may find that the chips are not salty enough.

The lack of saltiness makes this snack chip a good one to pair with a salty cheese or a salty meat for a snack.

Flavors

FoodShouldTasteGood Multigrain Tortilla Chips come in a variety of flavors. I tried the Multigrain, which were delicious. They also make Olive and Jalapeno flavors. Next on my list to try will be the chocolate tortilla chips.

Texture

One of the other pluses of this healthy snack food is that they a thin tortilla chip. So many organic and all-natural chips, including Terra Chips and blue corn chips are thick. Too thick. NotFoodShouldTasteGood Multigrain Tortilla Chips.

This healthy treat is are a perfect thinness, yet strong enough to hold a dense salsa.

The chips have added internal texture due to the addition of different seeds including flax seed, sea-same seeds and sunflower seeds.

Artificial or Natural?

This healthy snack food is all-natural. There are no artificial flavors or artificial flavors in this healthy snack food. 0

Nutritionally

Nutritionally I feel good about eating these chips as a snack. In addition to the fact that this is an all-natural snack, I appreciate what I didn't find in the bag. This natural snack food has zero grams of trans fat, and zero grams of cholesterol.

What I do like is the three grams of protein per serving, and the two grams of iron.

The Costco in Auburn Hills, Michigan no longer carries these chips. We are hooked on them. Where can I purchase them?
