Great Ways to Say I Love You

You don't have to scream "I love you" from the mountain tops to make your partner realize you care, but it sure is nice to hear. Although it's nice and reassuring to hear those three little words from your loved one, there are also a lot of non vocal ways to do so. Sometimes, the little
tokens and actions have more meaning because of the thought behind them.

Saying I love you to your sweetie is as simple as leaving a little note on their pillow when you run into work early. Or, if you're the first in the bathroom, leave a message on the mirror. Make your honey a cup of coffee in the morning when they are running late, or set your alarm 15 min early and make them breakfast in bed.

Love is filling up your wife's tank of gas so she doesn't have to hurry before work. Love is picking up your husband's socks without griping for one night. Doing little things for each other constantly is one way of letting the other person know that you care.

Buying your wife flowers on the way home, or picking up fresh strawberries because you know your husband likes them are nice ways of saying "I care." Take off work a half hour early and make your spouse dinner. Make a reservation at the restaurant of your first date for no reason at all. Take your sweetie to see the first movie you saw at a drive in and sneak in their favorite candy.

Learn different coded ways to say I love you. Have a silly little face you share across the room. Have a code for when you're bored at a party. Have private jokes. Having private little communications with your sweetie in public is a way of bonding together and saying I love you.

No matter how fast paced or stressful life is, constantly think about little things to brighten your sweetie's life. Texting your husband his football team's score if he's staying late at work, or dropping off lunch to your wife if her meetings ran late are just simple ways to say "I was thinking about you." Send a picture mail of you making a kissy face or being a goof. Just let your spouse know they are never far from your mind.
