Manning broke Dan Marino's record with 49 TDs in 2004. If that wasn't enough, Peyton threw only 10 INTs and lost just 1 fumble. Taking out week 17, where he attempted only 2 passes, resting for the post-season, Manning had 2+ TDs in 14 of 15 games, 6 games of 4+ TDs and an amazing stretch of 5 games where he 24 TDs and an average rating of over 120. Peyton has been fantasy football money for a number of years now, but no season has matched his magical performance in 2004.
Ladainian Tomlinson - 2006
Tomlinson was drafted high in the first round in 2006 and for good reason. Instead of posting normal top-running back fantasy numbers, LT set the record with 31 total TDs in 2006 (28 rushing), which is good enough to be on this list already. He didn't stop with his trips to paydirt. LT rewarded fantasy football owners with 2300 total yards (1800 rushing), only 1 lost fumble, 9 straight 100-yard games and 8 straight games with 2+ TDs. Welcome to the fantasy football Hall of Fame, Mr.Tomlinson.
Daunte Culpepper - 2004
If it weren't for a certain record-breaking quarterback named Peyton Manning, more people would know about Culpepper's superb 2004 season. He pleased fantasy football owners with 4717 passing yards, 39 TDs and only 11 INTs. If that wasn't enough, Culpepper ran for 406 yards and 2 TDs as icing on the cake. In weeks 15 and 16, Culpepper stepped up in the fantasy football playoffs with 689 yards through the air and 6 TDs.
Priest Holmes - 2002
Holmes was a fantasy football giant in 2002. He was the running game in Kansas City before Larry Johnson even left Penn State. Mr.Holmes rushed for 1615 yards and 21 TDs. If that wasn't enough, Holmes added 70 catches for 672 yards and 3 TDs through the air. He lost only 1 fumble and posted 9 100-yard games and 6 games with 2+ TDs.
Marvin Harrison - 2002
