Windy City Chicago: Great Travel for All Ages
If you want to just relax, you can drive downtown and check out the beautiful and tall buildings. You can visit the Sears Tower, which is a joke when you see the buildings in Nevada! You can also go to the Alder Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium,Navy Pier, Hancock Observatory, just to name a few. All these places are great for the children. There isn't enough for the young people under 21 to do in Las Vegas. I hope and pray that Las Vegas will take some of the ideas from Chicago and create some of these wonderful places to go to. For Example, Treasure Island, has a show that is so inappropriate for children, yet many children go to see it every half hour. The girls dance in almost nothing and act like strippers. The only nice part of the show is the pirates that actually dives into the water and do acrobatic stunts on the ship and then their ship actually sinks! Other than that, we are teaching or young children in Vegas that its ok to be vulgar and not be educated. Since my children are from Chicago, where education is the key, they don't like watching or seeing these stunts.
This city is beautiful for people coming and going and wanting to live out and do things they wouldn't do in their normal lives. What does that tell us?
