It is time for the real Week 3 College Football rankings. In these rankings there are no preseason polls, predictions, tradition or history involved. This ranking is based solely on how teams should be ranked based on what they have done this year.25. Rutgers
Okay so Rutgers hasn't beat anybody good quite yet but they're still undefeated so for now they'll hang on to the number twenty-five spot.
24. Cincinnati
Cincinnati is 4 - 0 and looks like they could possibly be another good team in the Big East. The Big East sure could use it after Louisville's start.
23. UCF
I thought Central Florida would maybe fall off the Top 25 by now but after dominating Memphis they'll stick around for one more week.
22. UCLA
The loss to Utah was not pretty but UCLA does hold a win over a good BYU team and the win over Washington could be the beginning of them getting back on track.
21. Alabama
As I said last week the Arkansas win wasn't as good as some thought. This week Alabama's fourth quarter "comeback" was wasted and Alabama is back to being a team ranked in the 20's.
20. Georgia
Georgia lost a close game to South Carolina but has set the ship right in their overtime win on the road against Alabama. With Florida's defensive backs looking like a weakness anybody still a shot in the SEC East.
19. Miami
It's hard to rank a team that got beat as bad as Miami did but we've seen that Oklahoma is just a good team and now Miami got a blowout win of their own against a ranked Texas A&M team.
18. South Carolina
Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks fall this week but a loss to LSU is nothing to be ashamed of. South Carolina still has a win over Georgia so a good showing against Florida and the division could still belong to them.
17. Missouri
Missouri is still benefiting from a weak schedule but they've stayed undefeated so far.
16. Texas
The good news is that Texas finally won in impressive fashion. The bad news is that a win over Rice doesn't help much in the rankings.
15. West Virginia
West Virginia continues to rack up easy wins but they at least win by a large amount of points.
