Unsatisfaction reigns king of my life,

Kin to princes of Sadness, Stress, and Strife.

Aspirations and dreams have fallen asleep,

Never to rouse, render, nor reap

Profit and pride, both are lost;

Low was my posit- high is my cost.

p.s.- for those who have expressed concern for my emotional state, no, this is not a reflection of how I feel right now

Thanks buddy, I have a thing for alliterations... as for the meter, I thought I'd switch it up a bit.

I like this poem...there for a second I thought the whole thing was going to be iambic pentameter...but either way I like the alliterations in lines 2 and 4.
