So many cliches
It has all been done before
Searching hopelessly in vain
For the words to say
What others have already said
And still say
Better than you.

Like art for art's sake
And not caring what it's for
Lack of Vision in creation
Originality a legend
Giving Artists a bad name
For their lack of inspiration.

Like faith in the unseen
And not needing any more
Never questioning the outcome
Or the reason
Or what your faith is for.

Or lying with a purpose
Instead of exaggeration
Pretending to be just like the wannabes
Never knowing they have nothing.
