Oregon Coast Aquarium is hosting a unique opportunity for kids this Halloween Season. This event is known as the "Aquarium Halloween Youth Sleepover" for children ages 7 to 11 years old. At the Halloween sleepover party, children will learn while engaging in an educational experience. Children will take on the coastal environments through Halloween activities that have been planned for this event.

Excitingly, children get to sleep emerged inside the Oregon Coast Aquariums under water tunnel, Passages of the Deep. This part of the aquarium was formally known as Keiko's home. But when Keiko was transported and released into his former homeland, Iceland, his home at the aquarium was transformed into what is now known as, The Passages of the Deep.

Just think of the excitement your child would experience by sleeping in the tunnel as sharks, rays and other marine life swim around enchanting and filling their childhood imaginations while they drift off into a sleepy slumber.

Children will engage in an educational scavenger hunt created by the Aquarium staff and volunteers. Children will be able to see and experience areas "behind the scenes" of the aquarium. This is a unique occurrence children don't get to experience by being a visitor to the aquarium during normal business hours. Children will get the know-how to the other side of life at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

On Friday night children will be delighted by pizza snacks as they learn about the aquarium. The Oregon Coast Aquarium will also be serving a continental breakfast to the children on Saturday morning as their overnight experience comes to a close.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium will be hosting an array of special Halloween activities to the children during their night stay at the aquariums, Halloween Youth Sleepover.
