In some games, it can be hard to differentiate from other characters of the same class. But some MMORPGs have a system set up, to help specialize your class. In Everquest 2, you achieve this by gaining Achievement points. This is similar to a system used in World of Warcraft, called the Talent system.

However, the World of Warcraft Talent system works very differently from the Achievement system. Later on in the game, you will gain an additional experience bar. You fill this bar by achieving special events. These range from killing special monsters to finding new locations. Every time you fill the bar with experience, you will get one point to use.

The Achievement trees are split up into two different sections. One section is specific for the class, and one for the subclass. For the Crusader classes, there is a tree for the Paladin and a tree for the Shadowknight. Then there is a tree that both of them have, the Crusader tree, which is what this article will focus on.

In the Crusader tree, there are five different paths you can take, each one based on one of the five stats. There is a single ability that you have to put a point into to be able to put points into the paths. The paths have a tier system, making it so you cannot put points into an ability unless you put enough into the previous ability.

Each tree (this is another word for path; In this case, they mean the same thing) has a title used to describe it. This title is also used to label the tree. In addition to that, you will gain that title if you put points into each ability in that tree.

The Strength tree is called the Avenger tree. After the first ability, which increases your Strength (this is common to each tree; the first ability will increase the stat it is based on), you will get a combat art that increase your attack speed with an axe if it hits, an ability that improves your base attack speed, an ability that increases the hate gained from enemies, and finally an ability that improves all of your casting and recovery times. This tree is useful for making a fast, quick hitting Crusader.
