I was at the movie theater last week and during the previews, I was not surprised to see that another Saw sequel is due out just in time for Halloween. Every year, a new sequel to the Saw movie series comes out around Halloween time and millions are made off people who go to see it. Rumor has it that the Saw movie series will reach at least nine movies - which means that there are five more to go after this Halloween. I personally enjoy going to the movies and, so far, I have seen Saw I, Saw II and Saw III at the movie theater. This year, however, I think that I am going to try to put my foot down. The Saw movie series really needs to be put to rest and here are some of the reasons why.

1. The Storyline of the Saw Movies is Sick

I am not going to drop any spoilers here, but if you have seen any of the Saw movies, then you already know that the storyline of the Saw movies is pretty sick. The whole entire idea that the Saw movies have been based on is completely disgusting. Of course, there are sicker movies which have been released, such as the Hostel movies. All in all, however, anyone will probably agree that the storyline of the Saw movies is just plain morbid.

2. Each Saw Sequel Just Keeps Getting Sicker

I was able to stomach the first Saw movie, although there is no doubt that it had its "moments." Saw II was a little bit grosser than the first movie, but there was only one or two parts that really freaked me out. However, there were long periods of time during Saw III when I was just completely mortified by the disgusting actions. Although I have never personally vomited because of a movie, I can honestly say that I came pretty close when I watched Saw III.

3. The Saw Movies Are Very Repetitive

I realize that the Saw movies are meant to be disgusting. Maybe this in itself is not a good reason to discontinue the Saw movie series. However, one of the biggest complaints that I do have about the Saw movies is the fact that they really do tend to be very repetitive. During each Saw movie sequel, it feels as though I am watching the same thing... over and over again. It just gets more and more disgusting with every new Saw movie sequel that is being made.

I may have already stopped watching the Saw movies myself after the second one if you didn't need to watch the third movie to understand the second.

You just listed five reasons to see the Saw movies. You know that you love gore - or else you wouldn't watch them. They satisfy all our gory needs and yes, they're not brilliant with most other aspects but who gives a shit when you get these amazing torture machines that surpass our worst nightmares. Personally, I think it's a shame they only bring out one a year. Keep them going Mr. Saw makers because they are fucking top.

It's meant to be disgusting, it's meant to be a puzzler, I don't feel like I am watching the same thing over and over again.. Some people don't like it, some people do. It should not be discontinued simply for the people who don't want to watch it. They just have to stop watching it. That's all there is to it. Your argument was horrible. Did all of that really need to be separated into five parts? You pretty much repeated the same thing multiple times. I honestly think the movie was very creative, and for some people, CAN be "deep.." "Intellectual" could also be argued. Other than that, I completely agree with Steve. Honestly.. Is that all you people have? The only way people know how to argue or state an opinion now is through cussing others out, in horrible grammar. Sometimes I have to read things twice to understand it. So annoying..

At what point did Jody say that she enjoys chick flicks? She didn't, not once. She clearly has at least some appreciation for the horror genre otherwise she never would have seen the original Saw let alone two sequels. Deciding not to watch the next 6 films and listing her reasons, whether some of you monkeys agree with her or not, does not make her dumb, a retard or a "cock juggling thunder-cunt". And how exactly does not enjoying a film make you a fag? I think you'll find many gay people enjoy watching films full of vapid hetro teenagers being hacked to pieces just as much you. For the record, the original concept for Saw was not to make anything deep, intellectual or groundbreaking, it was two Aussie guys with no money who wanted to make a movie and figured the cheapest way to do it was to set it in a single room. The concept was expanded when the studio took it on and the budgets for the sequels have grown, making those boys very rich. Really guys, c'mon, it's just slasher films.

I think the same way as most of the poeple. if you think that the movies are all the same and there is no story lien then u shoud not watch them. you are pretty much fucking stupid in writing this and i think you should stick w/ the chic flicks and leave the good movies alone sorry but you are FUCKING STUPID

The whole Saw franchise is the best thing to happen to cinema since Halloween...not to mention, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street...those movies were great for the same reasons that the Saw series is great...they're something new and fresh and they scare the shit outta people, not only that but there is actual storytelling goin on which is what I personally love about it, Saw 4 was the best one yet and they're only gonna get better. If you don't wanna watch 'em, then don't pay for a fuckin ticket...

ok personally i dont usually do commenst on this kind of stuff but i just had to for this one. Anyways im going to give you five reasons why ur five reasons are retarded. 1.) the story line of saw isnt sick. the things that happen in the movie are. the story of saw isnt to kill as many people as you can its to teach people who take life for granted to respect themselves more. The reason you should have watched saw 4 is because they go into detail about this. why should people who do drugs and and take life for granted have it so easy wile people who like life like jigsaw did get diagnosed with cancer have his unborn child die and get in a car reck. thats the point of the movie not to see hoe groosem it can get. 2.) the saw movies dont keep getting sicker they just get more in depth with what kind of problems these people already bring themselves. If u pay attention then u would know that jigsaw puts people into contraptions that are just more seriouse versions of what they already do t

iight, man, Saw is fuckin great, but im jus in2 horror and gore type shit, i mean, fuck, im a Juggalo. i can admit, they r gettin repetitive, but they make u think and at least it's not killing the same ways over and over. when i was younger, i was huge about friday the 13th, but i got out of it cuz pretty much every death is the same, call me wierd, but i love watching people die, but prefer it 2 be different, and i dont mean stabbing some dude 3 times, then some other dude 4, Saw got it goin cuz they never have people die the same way twice. the guys who wrote it r fuckin geniouses (i know i spelt dat wrong, im stoned and retarded lol), but there's so many twists and shit in it, like Jigsaw is still havin mutha fuckas killed and the nigga's dead, he a G, man. lmfao. iight, im out, holla at a ninja myspace.com/bambamdaklown (i got my music on there, check it out)

The Saw series are my favorite movies of all time! I don't care how gory they are because that's what I love about it. The storyline is awesome and they get better with each movie.
