Planning a haunted house for your Halloween party this year, it can be fun and exciting for everyone. First, you need to place to hold the haunted house. The only thing you truly need is space. You can fix this space any way you want to. I have been to haunted houses in garages, under pavilions, in cellars as well as empty buildings.
Once you find the location for you Halloween haunted house, then you can allow your imagination to run wild. The perfect haunted house is limited by your budget and your imagination.
The following ideas are for small gathering of all ages, but I suggest if possible that you do it in age groups. Smaller children tend to scare easier and need an adult to walk though with them, but the older kids are free game to scare, in a good way of course.
Participants of this small haunted house are blindfolded, so the items that I will be discussing in the following paragraphs will be hidden from their view. That is very important to note here before we go much further. No blindfolding the babies, so do not even go there. However, anyone above six needs to be blindfolded and led thru the disgusting table.
Set up a table with a cover it with a tablecloth and grab some fallen leaves for the table and the floor as well. You will need a tablecloth that is long enough to cover the table and hang to the floor.
There will be bowls of assorted stuff on the table that people will be sticking their hands inside, you will tell them it is body parts. Depending on the size of the tables, you could have a few bowls to many bowls.
You need three to four reliable people to help you here. One to guide the people through, remember they are blindfolded. One to operate the haunted music or sound effects and help move bowls closer. One person will stand by with a towel for dirty hands.
In the first bowl, you will make up some spaghetti noodles rinse them and pour some vegetable oil on them to keep the noodles from clumping together. This will become brains, go ahead and put chunks of things like watermelon in the bowl with the noodles for texture.
