This anemone is somewhat easy to take care of it you have a tank which is set up with high powered lights. It requires a good amount of light which means you will definitely need to place the anemone in the middle portion or higher in your fish tank. You will not be able to leave the anemone on the ground floor because it will not get enough light. You will also need a good amount of water movement. If you have a canister filter with an adjustable power head you can rotate it to flow towards the anemone. You can also purchase a wavemaker which will attach to the powerhead and create water movement 360 degrees around the powerhead.
This anemone will need to be placed into an aquarium that is 72 to 76 degrees. You will definitely want to keep the salinity around 1.022 to 1.025. If you have a decent amount of light and water movement along with the correct temperature and salinity level you shouldn't have a problem keeping the Pink Tip Anemone alive and healthy. You will need to add iodine and trace elements into your fish tank like you would a polyp or other types of hard and soft corals. If you don't want to purchase any more supplements you have a lot of different coral to choose from which requires the same supplements.
