Fall TV the CW's "Life is Wild"
This one hour drama revolves around the lives of the Clarke family who have recently moved from New York City to beautiful South Africa (it's actually shot here too!) and situate themselves in a lodge called The Blue Antelope. The family consists of father, Danny and his children, Katie and her younger brother Chase. Then we have Jo who is step mother to Danny's children and also has a few of her own, Jesse and his younger sister Mia. Katie and Chase's biological mother has passed away.
Katie's father is a veterinarian and he feels that he could put his career to good use by moving to South Africa. He also hopes to bring the family together since none of the children have created any sort of bond yet.
The Blue Antelope is also where his first wife's father resides. Art keeps to himself but hopefully, the family's arrival will eventually change that.
After arriving in South Africa, the family begins to get into the swing of things, Danny helping the animals in need while Katie and Jesse begin to make friends. All of the family members soon begin to see the beauty in the scenery along with the animals and maybe this move will finally bring them together.
"Life is Wild" stars Leah Pipes ("Her Best Move"), D.W. Moffett ("Grey's Anatomy"), K'Sun Ray ("Smith"), Stephanie Niznik ("Everwood), Andrew St. John ("Vanished), Mary Matilyn Mouser ("NCIS"), David Butler, Calvin Goldspink ("I Dream"), Tiffany Mulheron ("Hollyoaks"), Jeremy Sheffield ("Murder in Suburbia") and Atandwa Kani.
