If you have saltwater fish and the fish is a herbivore you are going to have to feed the fish seaweed. You will need to purchase veggie clips to place inside of the tank. You might also have to feed the fish some types of plankton and emerald entry. If your fish is a carnivore you will want to feed the fish different types of meat such as small chopped up fish, clams and shrimp. You can also feed the fish different types of frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. You can purchase all of these foods from your local pet store in the freezer section or you can choose to purchase food which isn't frozen as well.
If you have baby fish in your tank such as baby guppies or mollies you will need to purchase food for baby fish. You can purchase it at your local pet store. The food will be very small so that it fits into the mouths of the babies. You can also feed them flakes but you will need to break them up very small. You can also feed these live bearers a number of frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp.
