The new Star-Kist tuna creations are on market stores and are fantastic. They come in a variety of flavors that range from a sweet and spicy marinade to lemon pepper. Packaged in a foil package instead of the traditional aluminum can, the tuna creations can be easily slipped into a brief case or purse for a quick healthy lunch. They are great on wraps or in a salad. They are really good spread over a bed of rice. Even Charlie the tuna would want to be apart of this great food item. Tuna is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids. A package of tuna creations contains seventy five milligrams of Omega-3. This acid is known for helping to maintain your cholesterol and to help your metabolism to burn the right amount of fats and protein. If you are on a low cholesterol diet, tuna creations only contain twenty five milligrams of cholesterol and only three grams of sugar. If you are on a low sodium diet, you might want to refrain from eating tuna creations too often. It has a whopping two hundred and fifty grams of sodium. For the diet conscious, the product only has one gram of fat.
The back of the packages have recipes for tuna cakes, wraps, and tuna salad. My favorite recipe is to mix a package of tuna creation in with my Raman noodles. I cook Raman a little differently. I boil the noodles and then drain out the water. While the noodles are still hot I add a table spoon of butter and a table spoon of mayonnaise. Mix the mayonnaise and the butter in the noodles until the butter is melted. Add one tea spoon of minced garlic to the mixture. Stir in one package of tune helper and you have a meal any bachelor could make.
The sky is the limit with tuna creations. No more messy cans or waste. Tuna creations are made from quality tuna. It is a lot more nutritional than most lunches that you can buy or make. Adding fish you your diet more often will allow you to maintain or lose weight depending on the other foods that you are eating. It will also help you maintain low cholesterol. All and all tuna or other fish products are just plain good for you. Look in your canned meat sections at your grocery store for tuna creations. They are usually located near the canned sardines and oysters.
