When you first arrive at the Ice Palace Inn, make sure you take a look at the "Gold Lady." It was originally made and given as a class gift to the Leadville High School in 1901. It is now built into the parlor turret for all to enjoy.
There are many great rooms to select from:
The Grand Ballroom is a honeymoon or anniversary suite. This suite has a queen-size canopy feather bed. It also includes a private bath with double tiled sinks and shower. There is an oversized hydro massage tub for two. The sitting area has a full sized futon that can be used as an extra bed. The room has a panoramic view of the mountains. An in-room coffee/tea station, fireplace, and TV.
The King's Tower is also a honeymoon or anniversary suite. It contains a king size feather bed and private bath with shower and separate hydro massage tub. It also has panoramic view of the mountains.
The Crystal Carnival is a room with a queen size canopy feather bed, private bath with an antique claw foot tub and separate tiled shower.
The Skating Rink is a room with a queen size antique Eastlane feather bed and private bath with a private entrance.
Any guests that have allergies to feathers can have the mattress replaced with a non-feather one. You just have to notify the staff upon registering. The staff is always able to help guests with any issues that will make their stay more enjoyable.
Dinner at the Ice Palace Inn begins with a gourmet breakfast served in the dining room. Breakfast includes fresh baked breads and fresh fruit. There are also Danish Puffed Pancakes and Frittatas made using fresh vegetables. All meals are prepared by experienced staff.
