Healing from Hurt Through Poetry

Today is the day,
That we had to say goodbye.
God took you from us,
And we don't know why.
Pain and grief,
Love and depression.
For such a tiny person,
You've made your impression.
We will hold you close,
So we'll never be apart.
You're on our minds,
And in our hearts.
We'll try to smile,
And not to be blue.
As we live each day,
With thoughts of you.
"It will all be okay."
Said a voice from above.
"Your baby is with me now,"
"Surrounded by Love."
