On Friday, October 12th at 10:00pm et/pt the Lifetime network will debut a new reality series entitled, "America's Psychic Challenge". Lifetime has ordered 8 episodes of this show. Let us see what viewers will have to look forward to with "America's Psychic Challenge".

Does the gift of being a psychic actually exist? Or is it just some hoax? The hour long reality series looks to find answers. In every episode, four psychics are selected to participate in competitions where they have to give correct answers. If someone gets an answer correct, they are given a point. The criteria for being on the series is that they believe to have this special gift or have a career as a psychic. At the end of every episode, the two people who answered the most questions incorrect, must leave the show. They then bring in another two psychics to compete against the two that are still on the series.

"America's Psychic Challenge" is hosted by John Burke who has appeared in "CSI: Miami" as well as "Dirt". This reality series is produced by George Whitman, John Vidas ("Murder"), Ethan Cohan ("The Simple Life" and "Armed & Famous") and Jonathan Murray ("Road Rules" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians").

Will "America's Psychic Challenge" have enough staying power to last this season? Let us look first at the lineup of this reality series. The Lifetime network will air this right before the successful show entitled "Lisa Williams: Life Among The Dead" which is also a reality series where you follow a British medium who speaks with the dead. I am sure that the Lifetime network was thrilled that the Lisa Williams show did well that they decided to look for another series of the same genre that would appeal to this audience.

for new recruits. As the 700 Club declines, the Lifetime Network is becoming the new dumbass breeding ground. President David Koresh (or Peter Popoff) is just a few years away. How sad.

This is insanity. The producers of this program are absolute unmitigated madmen. There are obviously no adults in the "leadership" at the Lifetime network. I implore you all, just look at the state of affairs all over the planet right now and ask yourself if intentionally disconnecting EVEN MORE naive and uneducated people from reality is a responsible thing to do. This is just a further attempt to grow a new generation of idiot-level IQ consumers who will literally consume ANYTHING, regardless of how childish and irresponsible the menu. Yes, the corporate profits will increase for all the multi-national corporate media / war and Walmart junk makers and sellers - but how many more wars and greedy retarded 'leaders' with right-wing political agenda disasters can we weather? ...and at what cost? The religious-right has proven itself to be the political equivalent of the Thelma and Louise Mountain Top Driving School, so the viewers of Lifetime are the targeted replacement for trolling for

This show is really interesting. I have always been interested in psychic ability but never has there been a show like this. It's amazing what these people can do. It shows that there is definitely something going on in this world with energy and that it is a true gift some people have. I too hope for more seasons of this reality show.

Thank You for giving the show a chance. Im proud to say Im one of the contestants on APC and can safely say that this show is definitely worth watching!!! I am not allowed to discuss details of the show, but I can tell you that the Show is interesting, well produced and legitimate. All of the psychics (including myself) worked very hard and spent a lot of energy and focus on each task at hand, and none of us walked away from this show un effected...AMERICA'S PSYCHIC CHALLENGE Taught us that our gifts are powerful and need to be used for the good in this world. I for example, have learnt to chanel more of my gift into my song writing (I am also a Recording Artist / Songwriter) and the amasing people I met on the show made me see the world through different eyes...A more open loving outlook. I highly recommend you watch APC, as each episode is very different to the one before, and the intense dynamics between all the psychics only adds to the excitement of the challenges WWW.SILVAN
