Sherlock Holmes is back and Dr Watson of course is being dragged along in the pursuit to solve another case in Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. But Dr Watson is the one who brings this case to Sherlock as one of his patients asks Dr Watson for help. It seems the man's servant has gone missing and of course everyone knows that the infamous Dr. Watson is close friends with the great Sherlock Holmes who can solve any mystery.

So enter the world of Sherlock Holmes and the investigative talents of the super sleuth as you investigate not only the servant's disappearance but many others in the area. You must find the clues and discover why so many commoners have gone missing. During your journeys into the detective world of Sherlock Holmes you will use your logic and tools such as a microscope and magnifying glass to find the clues you need to solve the case.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened from Frogwares and CDV Software Entertainment is a pretty good adventure game with plenty of footwork to find all the clues. If you miss anything the game will not let you proceed further so there is no worry about getting so far in the game and then having to go back. But this also brings up the point of just having to wander around and find everything in the current area you are in before being able to move on.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened becomes a search for clues in the true Sherlock style and piecing these clues together. The little lab setup that Sherlock has at his apartment is neat with some chemicals and basic analysis of items and this adds to the stories era of basic chemistry with the detective work you need to do.

During your wanderings you will talk with plenty of people and the clues just keep coming but the actors who lend their talents to the voices are pretty good for the most part. The graphics are also pretty good but there is a definite lack of other objects in all the scenes as you tour the areas you find yourself in.
