Think you are too old or too busy to earn your college degree? Think you don't have the funds or moral support to attend college? Think a college degree probably won't make much difference in your economic situation? Think again. Think again. Think again. Women of all ages have entered or re-entered college in droves; women now account for the majority of college students. This may sound like a cliché but it is indeed true that there is a lot of scholarship money available which goes unclaimed every year. Women who possess a college degree earn nearly 80 percent more than women without a college degree. [1] If you are currently working and want to advance within your organization, consider the fact that supervisors often feel that an employee with a degree is more serious about their job, more willing to learn and more apt to set and achieve goals.[2] Most universities offer adult student services which are specifically geared toward non-traditional students. The services include assistance with: academic advising, financial aid, and class selection, registration, commuting problems, health services and child care information.

Many non-traditional students are often the first in their family to attend college and because of family pride, more often than not; you will find support among your family and girlfriends.

Now that we've addressed your excuses for not pursuing a college degree, let's get to the specifics about how it can be done.
