The Blushing Coral is one type of soft coral. There are soft corals and there are hard corals. The hard corals are hard and they are also hard to keep alive. This is because they require a very high powered light, which most people cannot afford to buy on top of everything else. The Blushing Coral comes in a light brown color and is somewhat easy to keep alive. If you have a really high powered light you will want to place this coral on the bottom of your aquarium. If your light is not the best you might want to place this coral near the top portion of the tank so that it gets enough light. This coral will require you to keep the salinity and temperature at the right level. You will want to keep the salinity at around 1.022 to 1.026. You will also want to keep the temperature between 72 and 76 degrees. You will want keep your heater on and turn it to 73 degrees to make sure that the water temperature does not fall below 73 degrees. There's nothing you can do to keep the tank from getting warmer except to make sure that you don't leave your light on for too long. This light will quickly start to heat up your fish tank. Don't place the tank near windows and heating sources such as heating vents.
This coral is a soft coral and like most soft corals it will require iodine and trace elements. It will also require strontium. A few of the soft corals will require strontium but not all of them. You will usually want to have coral that all requires the same supplements so you don't need to purchase and add ten different types of supplements to your water. You can purchase this coral, polyps and all different types of soft coral. They are also the easiest to keep alive out of all the corals.
