The Blender Express model - BPE3BR is a 350 watt blender with the capability of turning into a travel mug. Once you mix your favorite concoction, just remove it from the stand and take it with you. The travel lid twists on to provide extra protection from spills, and the lid has a flip-up feature for sipping. The blender has two blending speeds plus a pulse feature and can mix up to 24 ounces of liquid. It doesn't seem to have a problem with ice, fruits, or soft vegetables, and takes up very little space on the counter top. Since it is small, there is also no problem taking it with you on a business trip.

Pros

The Blender Express has more than one speed, a good size travel mug with a handle, and a twist on lid for fewer spills. The price is very low, and the style is modern.

Cons

The main problem would be that you have to turn it upside down to fill it and once again when you are finished mixing. The reason for this is that the bottom of the blender container is the top of the travel mug. I am assuming that they made it this way so that you would not be walking around with the blades in the bottom of your travel mug. Good idea, just a little cumbersome.

Uses

The Blender Express seems to only have a limited number of uses. Mainly those that can be consumed through drinking. Smoothies, shakes, and other fruit drinks would be best.

Other Uses

I cannot think of many other uses off the top of my head. Possibly making small batches of salsa could be accomplished. Tomatoes, onions and peppers are all soft vegetables. I feel that they could be smoothed into a salsa with relative ease.

Conclusion

The Blender Express is a pretty good blender for its original purpose of an on the go personal blender. It has no problem mixing fruits, ice, and other liquids for whatever refreshment that you can think up. Not to mention the occasional shake. If you do not mind dealing with the task of turning it upside down to fill the container and again to take it apart, then this is not a bad little blender. The price isn't bad either. It seems to retail around $18 or $19 dollars, and sometimes less.
