The year 2007's fall television lineup is one incredible explosion of awesome tv! There are so many great shows to pick from, I don't know what I'll do. I used to try and find one good show on each night, but now sometimes you've got three different channels with a must-see at once! This is exciting, and makes for some great evenings this fall. I can't wait to watch!

So, I did check out some premieres this week. What I learned is that television is getting bold and provocative- and I like this. Television is stepping out of the mold, changing things up, and bringing all sorts of surprises. The only thing I don't really like and don't advise for Fall viewing are the reality shows. I don't get that much from Survivor, so you won't see it on the list. However, Dancing with the Stars makes the list because even though it is reality based, it still gives us top-notch quality viewing, with some real action and hard work of the dancers!

1. Private Practice. Airs Wednesday from 9 to 10 pm on ABC. My top pick for the best television show this fall is Private Practice. Why? If you watched the series premiere on Wednesday night, you don't even have to ask this. It may have been the best season premiere of a show I have ever seen. I couldn't believe how well the script was written and how the actors performed. It seemed like they were all old pros at working together. I think this show will carry its momentum all season long. We will see friction between Naomi and Sam, we will see a love connection develop between Addison and Pete, and we will see all sorts of odd medical situations that come with running a private medical practice. I am looking forward to how the alternative medicine guru, Pete, will match up with the "by the books western medicine" character of Addison.
